RECALL: Texas Meat Packers recall frozen, fresh beef items

Over 7,000 pounds of raw beef products that were packaged and produced in Fort Worth, Texas is being recalled, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The frozen and fresh beef items were packaged without the benefit of federal inspection. 

RECALL: H-E-B recalls halogen light bulbs due to laceration, fire hazard

H-E-B has recalled about 2.5 million GTC halogen light bulbs. According to H-E-B's website, the light bulbs can shatter while in use in a lamp or light fixture - posing a laceration or fire hazard to consumers. Consumers are being asked to immediately stop using the recalled halogen light bulbs. 

Heineken under fire for 'terribly racist' light beer commercial

Heineken has removed a controversial commercial after several online called the advertisement “terribly racist.”  In the 30-second commercial, a bartender slides a beer down the bar, and past several customers to a woman standing in the distance. The slogan “sometimes lighter is better” is then flashed on the screen.
