Passengers traveling through certain U.S. airports may now have their change fees waived under certain conditions due to the wildfire smoke from Canada impacting airline operations.

The wildfire smoke has prompted air quality alerts from the Midwest to the Northeast and down to the mid-Atlantic and Carolinas.
