We are about six months into the pandemic and for some of us, it's taking a toll. It's not just physical health that doctors are worried about. It's also mental health for many people. Dr. Kimberly Roaten is a psychologist at Parkland Health. She joined Good Day to talk about a recent survey that found more than half of all adults in the U.S. feel their mental health has suffered.

Plano 13-year-old fills backpacks, encourages other kids to help those in need

Make-A-Wish North Texas auctioning off artwork to help grant wishes
Traditionally one of the ways Make-A-Wish funds wishes is through selling artwork made by children at galas and fundraising events. Due to the pandemic, those events have all been called off. That's why Galleria Dallas has stepped in to host The Art of a Wish auction. The exhibit will be up at the mall through the end of August. More: WishesAreWaiting.org

Then he collected a truckload full of water bottles for a shelter. In October, it will be a sock drive. Good Day is proud to share the story of his amazing work. Attorney: Evictions could become an epidemic in Texas
Evictions are already an issue in Texas and it's a problem that may soon get worse. Tax attorney Mark Melton became an overnight expert on the issue and a go-to guy to help people for free.
