Warming Trend Through Saturday

Chilly again tonight with lows in the low to middle 30s. Sunshine and a south breeze will get us into the mid to upper 50s by mid-afternoon on Thursday.

Typical December Day!

After a freeze this morning, we'll be right where we should be for this time of year. Highs will be in the 50s with plentiful sunshine. We stay quiet and dry through the weekend, with the next chance for rain Sunday night into Monday morning.

A Chilly Night!

Clear skies and light winds help temperatures drop into the 20s for most tonight! Sunshine and southerly winds slowly warm up North Texas through the rest of the week. Another cold front returns small rain chances and colder air early next week,

That's A sNOw For You!

ONE winter(y) day...not really. Then it's back to December in TEXAS! Rain AM still could mix with some ice pellets before tapering off and shifting into SE counties this afternoon. We end in the 40s. 50s return Wed-Thu and 60s by Friday. Next chilly "system" looks to be next week.

A Quick Shot of Winter!

Temperatures quickly drop into the 30s and 40s tonight, as a disturbance brings widespread precipitation. A cold rain will increase from west to east, especially after midnight. There is potential for a rain and snow mix between 4-10am along a line from Stephenville northeast to Paris. Surface temperatures stay above freezing through this time period, keeping accumulations to a minimum and on grassy surfaces only. Behind this system, we dry out and slowly warm up through the rest of the week.

A Quick Blast of Winter!

Big changes ahead, as the next cold front moves through North Texas Monday afternoon. A very cold rain is likely Monday night into Tuesday. As temperatures fall into the 30s, a wintry mix will be possible, mainly north and west of DFW. While some wet snowflakes may mix in with the cold rain, no major impacts are expected. Behind this system, drier air moves in for the rest of the week, with a slow warm up.

Spring Fling, Then We Tumble!

Strong southerly winds keep Spring-like temperatures in place to end the weekend. By Monday, the next cold front and disturbance bring widespread rain and much colder air. Temperatures remain above freezing through this period, keeping everything all rain. Behind this system, we dry out and remain cool for the rest of the work week.

A Cooler Friday!

After a cold front overnight, expect a chilly start today...with temps not warming much this afternoon. A nice weekend is ahead! Here's your forecast.

Temperatures Tumble

It's been nice and pleasant these last few days, but with a cold front clearing through tonight that will change. Temperatures will hover in the upper 50s for Friday and Saturday as the clouds linger around and that will quickly change again with Sunday looking to climb into the 70s. For our cold loving viewers, we're looking at a nice cool down next week. Stay tuned!

Thursday Morning Forecast!

Good morning! Just some high clouds this morning, with temps in the 40s and 50s. We heat up into the 70s this afternoon, with plenty of sunshine. Low shower chances return tonight, mainly northeast of the metroplex. A cold front brings high temps back into the 50s tomorrow!

Temperature Pendulum

Another mild day tomorrow, but a late night cold front will bring some rain to areas mainly northeast of DFW with temperatures much cooler to wrap up the work week. Don't worry, the weekend warms up nicely followed by another surge of cold air next week. #fox4weather
