Spotty showers this morning, with better rain/storm chances this afternoon. We dry out by tomorrow morning!

Soggy Thursday Morning!

Moderate rainfall is continuing for the majority of the metroplex. Rain coverage will continue to increase over the next hour or so, before tapering off this afternoon. Temps will stay in the 40s and 50s all day!

Foggy Start...For Some!

Low clouds, drizzle, and some patchy fog to kick off your Wednesday. And to top it all off...it is MUGGY! Better rain chances return tomorrow.

Mild Today; Changes On The Way

Breaks in the clouds will allow temperatures to hover around that 70° mark this afternoon, but rain chances return with a series of cold fronts that will bring swings in the temps as well. The second half of January looks to be cooler.

Warm Air PLUS Rain Late Week

Temps WELL above average today and tomorrow without a lot of sun! We turn cooler Thursday with some morning rain possible, then warmer again to end the week with showers/storms.

Rain Chances Return!

Clouds have returned and are here to stay through the week. Morning fog and drizzle turns to mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures Tuesday. By Wednesday, the first of two cold fronts settles in to North Texas.Rain chances go way up Thursday and again Friday, with the second cold front. We dry out and cool down back to normal for the weekend.

Gloomy & Cool

The dense cloud cover has been parked over head with very few breaks surrounding the DFW area. Mist continues to hamper visibility in isolated locations. We do warm up through midweek with a few bouts of cold fronts bringing rain chances back to the area to close out the week and some fluctuations in temps.

Heading Back Up!

Southerly winds transport more clouds and milder air back to North Texas heading into the work week. After some morning fog, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies Monday. Highs climb back above normal, in the 60s. The warm up continues ahead of another cold front mid-week. Rain chances return starting Wednesday. Highest coverage of showers and storms is on tap Friday with a second, stronger disturbance.

More sunshine in the forecast to close out the weekend, this along with southerly winds will help bring our afternoon temps to near 60° for the high. 70s await us later this week!

Chilly Tonight, Then A Warm Up!

Clear skies and light winds allow temperatures to drop below freezing for many tonight. South winds develop Sunday, which help warm us back to near 60 degrees. The warm up continues into next week. An active weather pattern returns mid to late week, increasing rain chances.

A wintry mix for the remainder of the morning with clearing skies this afternoon. It's a chilly one today with cold wind chill values. Don't worry, 60s return tomorrow!
