Jeremy Johnson wasn't flashy, but was effective in his first start since Auburn's third game with Sean White out with an injured left knee. Johnson finished with 132 yards and a touchdown.

Baker Mayfield leads No. 14 Oklahoma past Iowa State, 52-16

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Baker Mayfield completed 23 of 31 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a score to help No. 14 Oklahoma beat Iowa State 52-16 on Saturday night. Samaje Perine ran for 95 yards and a touchdown on 13 rushes, and Joe Mixon rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on eight carries for Oklahoma (8-1, 5-1 Big 12, No. 15 CFP). The Sooners have won fourth straight, outscoring their opponents 232-50.

Louisiana Tech routs North Texas 56-13

RUSTON, La. (AP) — Kenneth Dixon ran for a career-best six touchdowns as Louisiana Tech routed North Texas 56-13 on Saturday night. Dixon rushed for 195 yards on 22 carries for the Bulldogs (7-3, 5-1 Conference USA). Jeff Driskel threw for 296 yards and was intercepted once. Louisiana Tech went up 28-0 by halftime on three short-yardage scoring runs by Dixon and a 26-yard fumble return for a score by Bryson Abraham.

No. 12 Oklahoma State upsets No. 5 TCU 49-29 to stay perfect

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Mason Rudolph passed for 352 yards and a career-high five touchdowns, and No. 12 Oklahoma State pulled off an upset against No. 5 TCU 49-29 on Saturday. James Washington caught five passes for 184 yards and three touchdowns for the Cowboys, who have felt overlooked all season, despite their unbeaten record. The Cowboys (9-0, 6-0 Big 12, No. 14 CFP) have won their first nine games in a season for just the third time in school history.

Keselowski win at Texas for Penske's 3rd Xfinity title

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Brad Keselowski won the NASCAR Xfinity race at Texas, leading a race-high 62 of 200 laps and wrapping up a third consecutive owners' championship for Roger Penske. While Penske got a title Saturday, the Xfinity drivers' championship is still undecided with two races left. Points leader Chris Buescher finished 11th and has a 24-lead over defending champion Chase Elliott, who finished eighth. Regan Smith was 31 points behind after finishing ninth.

WVU breaks 4-game losing streak, 31-26 over Texas Tech

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Wendell Smallwood rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown, Rushel Shell had 111 yards and two scores, and West Virginia beat Texas Tech 31-26 on Saturday. West Virginia (4-4, 1-4 Big 12) broke a four-game losing streak while Texas Tech (5-5, 2-5) lost its third straight in trying to become bowl eligible.

Walker throws 4 TD passes, No. 23 Temple tops SMU 60-40

DALLAS (AP) — P.J. Walker threw four touchdowns pass and ran for another score, freshman Jager Gardner had a 94-yard scoring run on Temple's second play and the 23rd-ranked Owls beat SMU 60-40 on Friday night. Gardner had zero yards rushing for the season when he broke through the middle of the line for the longest run in Temple history and a quick boost coming off a close high-profile loss to No. 8 Notre Dame at home.

North Texas beats Texas San Antonio 30-23

DENTON, Texas (AP) — DaMarcus Smith ran for 137 yards with a late touchdown run to help North Texas win its first of the year, over one-win Texas San Antonio, 30-24 on Saturday. Smith also was 11 of 22 passing for 104 yards. Jeffrey Wilson added 127 yards rushing with a touchdown.

Lanning leads Iowa State past Texas 24-0 in first start

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Joel Lanning gave Iowa State and coach Paul Rhoads just the spark they needed. Lanning threw a touchdown pass in his first start and freshman Mike Warren carved out another 100-yard rushing game, leading Iowa State to a much-needed 24-0 victory over Texas on Saturday night.

Brewer, Langer lead Tulsa over SMU 40-31

DALLAS (AP) — D'Angelo Brewer ran for 119 yards and a touchdown and Zack Langer scored on three short runs as Tulsa handed SMU its sixth-straight loss 40-31 on Saturday. Brewer's touchdown, a 23-yard run, capped a five-play, 75-yard drive 19 seconds before the half to put the Golden Hurricane (4-4, 1-4 American Conference) up after the Mustangs (1-7, 0-4) had taken a 21-16 lead 53 seconds earlier.

No. 12 Oklahoma St beats Texas Tech 70-53

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Mason Rudolph and J.W. Walsh each threw for two touchdowns while Raymond Taylor scored two rushing TDs as No. 12 Oklahoma State came from behind to beat Texas Tech 70-53 on Saturday to remain in the hunt for the Big 12 title. The combined points are the third most involving a ranked team without playing overtime. Walsh found James Washington twice in the fourth quarter, one for 75 yards and then for 73 yards to seal the win for the Cowboys (8-0, 5-0).

Mayfield throws for 383, No. 14 Oklahoma blows out Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Baker Mayfield completed 27 of 32 passes for 383 yards and four touchdowns and No. 14 Oklahoma beat Kansas 62-7 on Saturday. Sterling Shepard had 183 receiving yards and a touchdown on 11 catches. Samaje Perine added 90 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries for the Sooners (7-1, 4-1 Big 12). Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops is now 11-0 against the Jayhawks in his career. Kansas (0-8, 0-5) has dropped 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Freshman Murray leads Texas A&M in 35-28 win over S Carolina

Tra Carson added 122 yards rushing and a touchdown and Donovan Wilson had a 60-yard interception return for the Aggies (6-2, 3-2 SEC), who played the first of three consecutive home games.

Backup QB boosts Texas to 23-9 win over Kansas State

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Tyrone Swoopes has reinvented himself, and the Texas Longhorns are the beneficiaries of that transformation. Swoopes, a junior demoted from starting quarterback one game into the season, became a situational player employed by coach Charlie Strong primarily in short-yardage situations. On Saturday, the 244-pound Swoopes scored three touchdowns and the Longhorns defeated Kansas State 23-9 in game played in a heavy rainstorm.

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Trevone Boykin threw for 436 yards and four touchdowns and third-ranked TCU rolled past Iowa State 45-21 Saturday for its third road win in four weeks. Josh Doctson had 190 yards receiving and two TDs for the Horned Frogs (7-0, 4-0 Big 12), who went on a 31-0 run after the first quarter. Boykin's 3-yard TD run with 14:36 left put TCU ahead 38-21. Doctson made it a rout with a 42-yard touchdown catch six minutes later.

Alabama scores 3 TDs on INT returns in 41-23 win over A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Derrick Henry ran for a career-high 236 yards and two scores and No. 10 Alabama added a school record three touchdowns on interception returns to get a 41-23 win over No. 9 Texas A&M on Saturday. Alabama (6-1, 3-1 SEC) built a 28-6 lead in the second quarter thanks to 55- and 6-yard touchdown runs by Henry and interception returns of 33 and 93 yards.

No. 19 Oklahoma shuts out Kansas State 55-0

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Baker Mayfield threw for five touchdowns and No. 19 Oklahoma bounced back from its Red River upset to beat Kansas State 55-0 on Saturday, the first time the Wildcats have been shut out since 1996.
