Preparations are underway in North Texas for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Dallas city leaders got an update on some of the logistics, including the locations of training facilities, base camps, fan events, and more.

AT&T Stadium will go by a different name and the field itself will be drastically changed to get ready for the 2026 World Cup. The Ticket's Peter Welpton talks about the excitement for the tournament and the changes we are making.

FC Dallas' Dan Hunt was the chairman of the local organizing committee for the 2026 World Cup. While Dallas did not get the final, it did get the most matches of any city. He says the tournament shows how far the sport has come in the U.S.

Fans felt a mix of emotions while watching FIFA officials announce the 2026 World Cup schedule. Many were hoping the final match would be played in North Texas.

Soccer fans in North Texas patiently waited for the announcement about where the 2026 World Cup final would be played. Many were disappointed to learn it will be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. But they're still excited for the semi-final game that will be played here.

Of the more than 100 World Cup games hosted in 16 cities around the world, we now know how many will be played in North Texas. AT&T Stadium will host nine games including a semi-final match beginning in June 2026.
