Two rescued near Dallas-Irving border after roads flooded

At least two people were rescued from high water near the Dallas-Irving border.

Just before 2:00 Saturday morning, someone called 9-1-1 and said water was up to their stomach, near Daniels Creek. That’s on Wildwood Drive near California Cross Road.

Dallas fire crews used a boat to rescue the people from six feet of water.. 

No word on their conditions. Wildwood Drive is now closed in that area.
