A stationary front to our northwest has kicked off showers and storms for parts of North Texas earlier today. Coverage is expected to increase tonight, especially N/NW of DFW. Scattered showers and storms remain possible Monday, especially from I-20 northward. Even with low rain chances many days this week, temperatures will remain well above normal for this time of year.

We're looking at a slight chance for spotty afternoon shower/storms, with better coverage southeast. Imelda's outer bands will bring us relief through the end of the work week, with highs in the 80s! Rain chances still look to be best east of north Texas.

Rain Chances Going Up!

The remnants of "Imelda" head northward, noticeably increasing our rain chances for the rest of the work week. Heaviest rainfall is expected east of the I-35 Corridor. The weekend is much drier, with high temperatures climbing into the low 90s.

Better Rain Chances!

A tropical disturbance in the Gulf heads into South Texas and eventually lifts northward into our region this week. This noticeably increase rain chances mid to late week. Highest coverage of rain will likely be from the I-35 Corridor eastward.
