Woman shot, killed in Uptown parking garage

A woman was shot and killed Wednesday night outside of an upscale Dallas high rise, according to police.

Police say the woman was shot around 7:45 p.m. at the Gables Park 17 parking garage. The high rise is located on Cedar Springs Road.

Police have not yet released her identity, only saying that she was 35 years old.

It’s unclear why the woman was targeted and whether or not her killer has been arrested.

Police started interviewing witnesses after the shooting, and residents weren’t being let in or out of the building.

Residents at the upscale apartment complex say it’s very secure, with a doorman and surveillance cameras.
