Radio stations encourage North Texans to "Back the Blue"

FORT WORTH, Texas - Two radio stations are promoting the “Back the Blue” campaign with special broadcasts Monday morning.

WBAP and KLIF-AM will be on air from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. encouraging North Texans to support their local police departments.

“Our overall goal is to make sure our police officers know that the vast majority of us appreciate what they do and the risks they take on our behalf every day!” the radio stations said in a press release.

Listeners can stop by the Ol’ South Pancake House in Fort Worth to sign a card for officers and receive complementary blue ribbons and “Back the Blue” t-shirts.
