Police investigating robbery and shooting near Duncanville High School

DUNCANVILLE, Texas - Police are investigating a home invasion robbery and shooting in southern Dallas County.

Police say a man was at home when three people entered.

One of them started to attack him while the other two stole property, loading it into a getaway car where another man was waiting.

After the attack, they jumped into the getaway vehicle, and that's when the victim grabbed a gun and then started firing at the car, hitting three of the suspects.

Neighbors were left stunned by what happened.

A man covering his head was eventually escorted out of the house by police.

A few hours later, he arrived back at the house.

Police eventually caught up with the three injured suspects at an intersection near Duncanville High School.

They were all taken to nearby hospitals.

The fourth person remains on the run.
