Man shot during drug deal in Dallas

Dallas police have one person in custody and they are searching for a second person involved in an overnight shooting at a far east Dallas apartment complex.

It happened around 3:20  a.m. Saturday in the 11700 block of Woodmeadow Parkway, on Ferguson road, just south of Interstate 635.
 
An argument broke out during a drug deal and someone opened fire, according to investigators.

A man who was shot several times was able to drive to the front of the complex and call police.

He was taken to a local hospital.

Police arrested a man hiding in the complex with a weapon. They are still looking for a third man.
