Man found in field with gunshot wounds
A man was shot and ran his car off the road in southeast Fort Worth early Monday morning.
People in a convenience store saw him drive into the field off Highway 287 near Miller Avenue.
They checked on him and found he had been shot several times.
The man told police he was shot inside his car by someone he knew and that it happened in the driveway of his home a mile away.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
