Lancaster bike shop catches fire overnight
LANCASTER, Texas - Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a bike shop in Lancaster early Friday morning.
Cycle Town South is located along Interstate 35E and sells ATVs, dirt bikes and more. The fire destroyed parts of a large metal add-on building behind the showroom that was being used as a service shop.
It’s not yet clear how the fire started, but firefighters had to deal with explosions from oil and fuel stored in the building.
One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
