Haltom City officer loses battle with COVID-19

A police officer in the Fort Worth suburb of Haltom City died after a battle with COVID-19.

Officer Kris "Hutch" Hutchison served with the department for nearly five years.

Before that, he worked at the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, the Kennedale Police Department and was a Marine.

He most recently worked as a school resource officer at North Oaks and Haltom middle schools and was known for his volunteer work serving children in the community.

He leaves behind a wife and two young children.
