Firefighters quickly extinguish Northeast Dallas apartment fire

Dallas firefighters are investigating the cause of a second floor fire at the Willow Pond Apartments complex in Northeast Dallas. The first responders worked quickly to bring the fire under control. It started around 3:30a.m. Sunday in the 6100 block of Abrams Road. Firefighters have not mentioned what they believe sparked the flames, but they indicate it was the result of an accident.
