Arlington police seized more than 70,000 Xanax pills, 20 pounds of hydroponic pot, $16,000 in cash and four handguns in a Tuesday drug raid.

Narcotics officers said a drug dealer missed all the signs that would lead investigators right to his stash of pills, pot, guns and cash at his apartment in the 1700 block of Saddle Creek Circle in southwest Arlington.

Duc Chi Ta, 24, ignored management signs posted all over the property saying they'd be conducting interior inspections. The fliers even gave the specific dates and times for the inspections.

Investigators say aside from not reading, Ta was not very tidy. When workers saw bags of pills, pot and cash lying around the apartment, they called police.

“When you're dealing in those types of quantities, those types of arms and stuff like that, that amount of currency, a lot of money on the premises, you're not just a low level dealer you're dealing large quantities,” said Arlington Police Lt. Christopher Cook.

Investigators said the street value of the drugs is roughly $250,000.

Ta was taken into custody and has since posted a $55,000 bond.
