1 person killed in Parker County house fire
PEASTER, Texas - One person is dead after a fire in Parker County overnight.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. in the community of Peaster, which is north of Weatherford on FM 920. Someone spotted the fire from the road and called firefighters.
Family members said a woman in her 80s lived in the home and they believe she died in the fire. The sheriff's office is still working to confirm the victim's identity.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
