Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos

Gina Ginsburg from The Dough Dough joins Good Day to make cookie dough stuffed Oreos with edible cookie dough. It's safe to eat raw because it is made with pasteurized egg whites and heat treated flour.

Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos

Eggless chocolate chip cookie dough
32 Oreo cookies
Rainbow Sprinkles or mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Vegetable or coconut oil
Additional semi-chocolate chips for dipping

Chocolate Dipping:
½ c. chocolate chips melted with 1 tsp. vegetable oil or coconut oil (per 4 Oreo
cookie dough sandwiches, or 8 if just dipping half in chocolate)

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper

In a microwave-safe bowl, pour the chocolate chips into bowl with the vegetable oil or coconut oil and microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Stir after each interval.

Continue to microwave and stir at 30-second intervals until smooth and completely melted. Set aside.

Take 32 Oreos and twist apart so there are two halves.

Take 1 heaping TBSP of cookie dough and put on one half of the Oreo.

Place the second half of Oreo on top of cookie dough. Place in freezer for a minimum of 15 minutes.

Using a fork or dipping tool, dip half the Oreo sandwich in chocolate and allow excess to drop off. Lay on parchment paper

Continue stuffing Oreos until all dough is gone. Sprinkle stuffed Oreos with Rainbow sprinkles or Mini Chocolate chips. Place back in the freezer for another 10-15 minutes for chocolate to set.
