Storm Chances Shrivel Up!

High...and DRY (But HUMID, how does that work?!)

High pressure overhead will squash shower chances until the weekend (and even then, coverage will be very low). South winds at the surface (where we live!) will continue to pump in Gulf moisture, so dew points will run near 70 the entire time. Heat Indices will be near 100 every day as well. Fortunately, we will get a nice breeze to mix the air and prevent air pollution issues.

By next week (Tuesday and after) there are indications of a pattern shift that breaks the high down and allows a weak front to get close. That should increase rain chances a bit and hopefully drop temps by later in the week!
