Ready For The Big Dipper?!

Two words. COLD. FRONT.

It arrives midday. Until then it's warm & humid. Showers and a few storms may develop north this AM, but better chances are midday-PM with the front. A few may have gusty winds. They look to be fairly brief (an hour) then push through as temps fall from low 90s into the 80s.

Tonight a 2nd disturbance will kick off more widespread showers as temps fall into the 60s area wide! Those will exit Thu AM, but clouds may linger a lot longer, keeping highs only in the low 80s.

The front backs up with a few AM showers Friday, before we return to more warm, humid weather in the 90s.

Weekend is HOT and humid, although another weak front will head in late Sunday into Monday with more low-end storm chances.
