"It's not over, until it's over!" Rain chances will linger at least through Thursday although today will be much more tranquil.
Just spotty light showers this AM (esp. west) before a little sun pokes through the clouds later on. The heating may drive another PM shower or two, but nothing heavy is expected, and coverage will be fairly low.
Late tonight-Wed AM a much stronger disturbance will plow through with showers/storms. Some heavy rainfall and a few strong storms (hail, wind) are possible. More than likely, that event will kill off any more rain chances for the afternoon.
One last piece of energy heads in Wed. overnight into Thursday AM with another cluster of showers/storms before we finally start to dry the atmosphere out.
At this point Friday & Saturday look very nice with highs close to 80 and lows in the 50s.
Gulf winds start to blow again Sunday and into next week, so more clouds and humidity will return along with low shower chances.
