Hanging on to those 90s (for now...)!

A "summery" end to September.

As low pressure heads into Louisiana, we'll have a bit more sun...and slightly warmer air today and tomorrow most areas with highs around 90. There may still be an isolated shower far east today, but that's all.

The flow gets a little drier late week, so lows and highs may come down a few degrees headed into October, but still above normal in the mid to upper 80s.

The weekend will still be in the 80s but the bigger question is whether a front can get through or not. At this point it looks as if areas north/west may see further cooling and a few showers while the rest of us stay on the warm side. This forecast will be fine tuned in the days to come
