Eden Checkol

Eden Checkol joins FOX 4 as an anchor for FOX 4 News at Noon and FOX 4 at 4 p.m. 

She has spent the past four years anchoring the 10 p.m. newscast at WPLG in Miami, where she also served as a breaking news anchor during early evening shows. She covered several major news events, including the Surfside Condominium collapse, the 2023 indictment of Donald Trump, and the Florida Panthers championship parade.

Prior to Miami, Eden was the morning and midday anchor at WISN in Milwaukee. She started her career in Duluth, Minnesota, and also worked in Madison, Wisconsin. 

She has a B.A. in Communications and Journalism from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
