Fort Worth road rage shooting suspect arrested for 62-year-old man's murder

FORT WORTH, Texas - A 22-year-old man is behind bars in connection with a suspected road rage shooting in Fort Worth that left a man dead.
What we know:
Koby Burkhart was arrested for murder Monday by Fort Worth Police.
He's accused of shooting 62-year-old Ricky Langs on Jan. 27, 2025, on Loop 820.
Around 7 p.m. on Jan. 27, a gray sedan was reported to police for blocking a northbound lane on Loop 820 just before the Meadowbrook exit.

Once officers arrived, they found Langs unconscious in the driver’s seat with a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
What we don't know:
Police have still not released what led up to the shooting or how they determined Burkhart was the suspect.
What they're saying:
Family members say Langs was on the phone just minutes before the shooting and complained of someone driving close behind him.
Burkhart was being held in the Lon Evans Corrections Center.
