An armed robbery left one man dead and a woman injured at a grocery store in south Fort Worth.

Two men entered the Save-a-Lot store on James Avenue near South Loop 820 just before it closed at 10 p.m. Thursday. They robbed the store and tried to flee with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police believe 26-year-old Raymond Huerta, an employee's friend, tried to intervene and was fatally shot. A female employee was also hurt and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators plan to review surveillance video to try to identify the suspects.
