Storms On The Fringes

More of the same...until the weekend (it figures, right?)

Some low clouds early this AM give way to more sun and gusty winds. Highs again mid 90s, with tomorrow being about the same but slightly hotter upper 90s.

The high pressure that has been dominating, shifts west Fri-Sat and allow just enough energy to drop into North Texas from Oklahoma (with a stalled front). We'll have to watch the storms in OK. to see if they slip over the Red river. There is a chance that happens Fri AM...and especially Friday eve-night. Some showers could also linger into Saturday...although the timing of the showers will be fine tuned.

By Sunday, the high builds back toward Texas and really kick in next week with another batch of dry, hot weather.

However...the CORE of the high looks to build NORTH of Texas. That would mean the hottest readings go into Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri...while we stay in the upper 90s
