A PAUSE, before more Fall Records Fall!
Hey! Finally one "kinda, close to NORMAL November day"....and then? More record heat possible.
We say 'kind of" because today will be cooler than Thursday's record 90s BUT some areas will be quite cool and others, only a little.
A cold front continues to head east this AM. Clouds and NW winds are dropping temps into the 50s from DFW N & W while humid 60s rule SE. Clouds will yield sun this afternoon BUT highs will range from 60s NW to "normal" 70s in the MPLEX to low 80s SE.
The front retreats overnight, so low clouds will develop late. Saturday turns HUMID as clouds break for PM sun and warm south winds develop. Highs into the 80s...some areas west closer to 90.
By Sunday, we are deeply entrenched in warm, humid air and we'll again head to record highs near 90. (record is 89).
Monday will find another cold front on our doorstep. It SHOULD stay north of the MPLEX and keep us in the 80s BUT if it drops closer, we could easily be cooler...like northern areas.
The front heads through Tuesday with temps again ranging from 60s N to 70s Metro...to 80s S.
By Wednesday, a strong disturbance in the cool air will bring some showers...and highs rather cool, near 60 before exiting Thursday.
