Report: Gary Patterson joining Texas Longhorns staff
FORT WORTH, Texas - Former TCU head football coach Gary Patterson is joining the University of Texas coaching staff.
According to an ESPN report, Patterson will be a special assistant to Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian.
Patterson was spotted at a Texas basketball game Tuesday in Austin.
He stepped down last season after 21 years as the Horned Frogs’ head coach.
