Minor league baseball team to have cat-centered promotion day

Saturday is looking like a purrrrfect day for a baseball game for one minor league team.
The single-A Lakewood (N.J.) BlueClaws are having CATurday, a day full of cat-themed promotions.
The BlueClaws, a Philadelphia Phillies affiliate, will wear cat-picture jerseys and fans are encouraged to bring their cats to the game. Cats must be on a leash and will be admitted with a $2 “Paw Pass.”
Miss Kitty will make a special guest appearance at the game. The team will be selling a specialty drink called “The Black Cat Cocktail.” There will be a rendition of Take MEOW Out to the Ballgame.
A local animal shelter will be at the game, collecting donations for a cat supply drive. The shelter will also have cats available for adoption at the game.
