Police investigating after boy reportedly shot self in leg
Police were called to the scene of a shooting Thursday night near 635 and Coit Road in front of Gateway Tower.
The initial call was at around 7:15 p.m. for a 12-year-old boy who shot himself in the leg.
The boy was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
His condition is unknown, but police have blocked off the street and have dozens of yellow evidence markers on the sidewalk.
