Two kittens are recovering from being dumped in a Keller storm drain.

They were bagged in a purse, thrown in a storm drain and abandoned on the south side of Rapp Road, east of the Willis Coves subdivision.

Keller fireman Jordan Sieger, working just his second shift with the Keller Fire Department, rescued the month-old kittens from the drain on Tuesday. A passing dog walker alerted the fire department of the kittens.

The kittens were sent to veterinary clinic Animal Advocates of North Texas, and were deemed healthy.

Regional Animal Services asks that anyone with information about the abandoned kittens call (817) 743-4710. Keller Police are investigating.
