GARLAND, Texas - Garland police are investigating a shooting in a school parking lot that left two men hospitalized with serious injuries.

What we know:

The shooting happened before 8:30 p.m. on Sunday outside WH Bradfield Elementary School on Bucknell Drive.

Responding officers found two men lying in the parking lot. One was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and the other had serious injuries.

What we don't know:

The suspect or suspects fled before officers arrived. 

Garland police said they are still investigating to identify the shooter and determine a motive.
