What they're saying:
"These athletes, they'll have alarm systems, but there's ways around them."
Doug Carson, a former Dallas Police Officer and private security firm founder not involved with the investigation, says construction projects like what police describe at Lamb's property create a security vulnerability.

Lamb is the most recent victim in a high-profile string of athlete robberies. Other pro athletes, like Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, have been the victim of burglaries.
"I don't know if it's a trend with copycat people or someone just thought, ‘Hey, this sounds like a good idea’," Carson tells FOX 4's Dionne Anglin.
Members of a South American theft ring were arrested in connection to some of the athlete robberies, but not all of them are linked to that group.
"They know a high profile athlete. They know it's going to make the news, something they can brag about. They know the things they’re going to get from there will be so expensive, it makes it worth the risk."
