Pastry chef Ashleigh Wright joins Good Day to show chocolate lovers a simple way to make their own dessert fondue at home. The Dallas Chocolate Festival is coming up next month on Sept. 9 at the Fashion Industry Gallery in Downtown Dallas.
Dark Chocolate and Cinnamon Fondue
2 cups (16 oz.) Dark Chocolate Chips
4 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Heat cream and butter over low-medium heat until scalding (do NOT boil). Whisk in cinnamon and Pour over chocolate. Let sit 1 minute and whisk until smooth. Place mixture in ceramic bowl and enjoy! Can be left room temperature for 90 mins- 2hrs.
When you need to reheat, pop in the microwave for 30 seconds (as long as it is in a microwave safe bowl :)
