SNAP benefits of concern amid government shutdown

The government shutdown is now on its 26th day. Both republicans and democrats are firm in their positions about what has to be done to get the federal government opened again. The biggest concern is the millions of Americans unable to get food assistance benefits at the end of the month if the shutdown drags on.

More flight delays are expected as the government shutdown lingers on. The transportation secretary also blames some of the disruptions on staffing shortages. DFW airport being one of the most impacted this past week. Also, H-E-B is stepping up as the federal shutdown threatens SNAP benefits.

Fort Worth officers rescue baby after crash | RAW

Body camera video from the Fort Worth Police Department shows officers and Good Samaritans moving a car to rescue an infant who was trapped after a rollover crash. The officers gave the baby girl CPR and had her breathing again by the time paramedics arrived.
