Two Frisco High School students created a way to make it easier for used clothes to have a new life. "Wear It Forward" is the idea of Eli Kim and Ah-Mit Jennings. The liberty high school students wanted an easy way for people to donate used clothes to people who need them

Here's To You: Hearts & Hammers

Dallas HomeVestors franchisees and the non-profit hearts & hammers renovated two homes near downtown Dallas. Up to 200 volunteers worked on the exterior, replacing rotted wood, scrapping, and painting siding and brick to give each home a facelift. Companies donated supplies and muscle power, and volunteer day t-shirts were worn with pride.

Here's To You: Bike Plano

In the spring of 2021 Bike Plano was created. Don Wendell was the director of the Plano Parks and Recreation Center and a long-time volunteer. Don's goal is to get more people in plano to ride bikes more often and ride safely. He teaches bicycling classes for older adults. Don's wife kay is also an avid cyclist and joins him in volunteer activities and events.

Here's To You: Cowboy Doctor cheers up child patient

Theo needed three open-heart surgeries. His T-shirt lists the names of the surgeries he had in 2020 and in July of this year. Warrior is on the t shirt because that's who Theo is. Look at his smile as he shows us all of the courage beads, he earned at children's health Dallas for the times he was in the hospital.

PMG volunteered to spruce up the Youth Support Center in Juliette Fowler Communities. The Marketing & technology employees painted offices, organized the clothes closet & improved spaces where 10 to 24 year old's are helped w/academic & personal development from R3 Student Outreach

SMART Summer is wrapping up Dallas public library & longtime volunteer at the Lochwood Branch Library helped launch it. She has fun while helping library guests & says service helps strengthen the community.

Here's To You: Postal Worker Appreciation Day

3- and 4-year-olds gave a shout out and more to the people who deliver the mail. The students of the Primrose School at Eagle Ranch and Castle Hills created works of art for their community heroes for National Postal Worker Appreciation Day. And they didn't stop there. Tiny postal costumes were worn as the kids delivered the mail to their school.
