Woman dragged by car during robbery on Henderson Ave.

A woman was dragged by a vehicle after she was robbed of her purse in East Dallas in early June.

Police said that the woman was walking through the parking lot of Henderson Liquor, located in the 2800 block of N. Henderson Avenue in Old East Dallas, around 1:05 a.m. on June 5. A gold Chevrolet Monte Carlo with 26-inch chrome wheels pulled up next to her and the driver reached out, grabbed the woman’s purse and sped off. The woman was entangled in the purse strap and was dragged by the car, injuring her.

Police released a video of a woman attempting to make a purchase with one of the victim’s stolen credit cards. The purchase was denied and the suspect left in a gold Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
