Volunteer firefighter injured in Hood County crash

A Hood County volunteer firefighter was airlifted to a hospital Saturday after a four-car crash.

The sheriff's office said four other people were hurt in the crash on Highway 51 at the intersection of Aqua Vista Drive. They did not give an update on the volunteer firefighter's condition, but said she is stable at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
