Undercover Dallas officers catch suspected ATM thieves

DALLAS - Three men were arrested early Friday morning by undercover officers who saw them steal an ATM.

It happened around 5 a.m. at a store on Ross Avenue near Greenville Avenue in East Dallas.

The thieves removed the ATM and left in what may have been a stolen van. The officers followed them to a South Dallas apartment complex where the men bailed out.

They were quickly caught by backup officers.

Detectives are now working to determine if the suspects are connected to other recent ATM thefts.
