Two killed when car hits light pillar in Garland

Police are investigating an early morning crash that killed two people in Garland.

It happened in the eastbound lanes, near the Kinsley Road exit of I-635 around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two other people inside the car were taken to a local hospital in serious condition, according to police.

Investigators are trying to figure out why the car veered off the highway and hit a large light pillar.
