A 62-year-old man from Dallas is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a minor, whose family says was missing from her home for days. FOX 4's Steven Dial has more.
DALLAS - A 62-year-old man was arrested Sunday and charged with sexual assault of a child after authorities said he picked up the 14-year-old girl, gave her drugs, and assaulted her over a three-day span at his Dallas home.

David Michael Klepak was taken into custody on Sunday evening following a traffic stop.
He was then charged with second-degree felony sexual assault of a child and booked into the Dallas County jail.
He is currently being held without bond.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit from the Dallas Police Department, the 14-year-old victim left home this past Wednesday to "clear her head." While she was on her walk, police said Klepak approached her in a luxury vehicle and offered her a ride.
After she got into the vehicle and noticed they were not driving in the direction of her home, Klepak allegedly offered to let her smoke ice, or crystal meth, from a glass pipe. He then took her to his home on Winton Street, where the sexual assault happened between July 29 and July 31.
The victim contacted a friend for help on Sunday and was picked up.
During a forensic interview at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, she provided details that allowed police to identify Klepak and his home, including descriptions of four luxury vehicles parked at his residence. The victim said he had a Bentley, Lexus and two BMWs. She said he lived in a duplex that was "extremely messy, with items everywhere."
Officers with the department's Child Exploitation Unit found Klepak driving a 2015 white luxury vehicle near his home on Sunday night. They stopped him and placed him under arrest after witnessing him commit a traffic violation. They reportedly found 17 glass pipes containing residue in his Bentley.
During an interview at Dallas Police Headquarters, Klepak confessed to sexually assaulting the teenager, according to the affidavit.

Neighbors who live near Klepak's duplex home said they were disturbed by the details of the incident. However, they said they had never met him.

FOX 4 could not find any prior cases on Klepak's record for child sex crimes, and he is not on the state's sex offender registry.
