Tarrant County reports first West Nile death for 2020
FORT WORTH, Texas - The first person to get West Nile virus in Tarrant County this year has died.
The county’s health department says the victim was an older person from Fort Worth who had underlying medical conditions.
Details like age, gender and when they died were not released.
It is the first death from West Nile in Tarrant County in nearly two years.
