Suspects sought after man shot in Frisco mall parking lot
FRISCO, Texas - Parts of the Stonebriar Centre closed down early Wednesday after its parking lot became a crime scene.
Frisco police say shots were fired right in front of the Nordstrom at the mall. around 6:22 p.m. One man was shot and police are looking for up to three people who drove off that may be involved.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Nordstrom closed down early for the day because of the shooting, according to an employee.
Several people, like Andrea Cunningham, couldn’t get to their cars because they were parked in the middle of the crime scene.
"Had to walk around to Dick's to get my car,” she recalled. “As soon as I leave Dick's, I see all of the cop cars and police tape and everything.”
Police say the shooting appears to be isolated and does not pose a danger to the public.
Frisco police have not said how the shooting started and have not released descriptions of the suspects.
