Suspects shot while trying to rob Dallas apartment

DALLAS - Dallas police believe two men who were shot early Friday morning were robbers.

Police said the men were armed with knives when they tried to rob an apartment on Clydedale Drive in northwest Dallas. They were met with gunfire.

One of the suspects died shortly after the shooting. The other is expected to recover. Their names have not yet been released.

Investigators are now talking to the shooter and witnesses about what happened.
