Superheroes surprise young hospital patients for Halloween

PLANO, Texas - Some of the young patients at Children’s Medical Center Plano got a big Halloween surprise – superheroes outside their window.

Window washers dressed up like Spiderman and Batman rappelled down the side of the hospital Tuesday afternoon. They stopped to wave at the kids in the playroom and then made their way inside to hand out candy and other treats.

The hospital has organized the fun event for several years now. A spokeswoman said the kids love it and the washers love doing it.
