Some Texas beaches have unsafe levels of bacteria

Are you looking for your dream job? Well, we might have found it for you if you love being on the beach and the warm weather. And get this, the job pays $10,000 a month.
If you have plans to visit a Texas beach over the Labor Day weekend, watch for warning signs.
Most beaches are fine but some near Galveston and Corpus Christi have medium levels of bacteria. A few have unsafe levels of bacteria and will be posting signs warning people to stay out of the water.
“These creeks and streams are really some of the fabric that knit together our community and when they’re polluted, when they’re not safe to enjoy, that’s a real problem for our neighborhood. It’s not an abstract thing,” said David Todd with South River City Citizens.
A report on water from last year shows 75 of 120 beaches in Texas were unsafe for swimming on at least one day.
