Soggy Saturday for North Texas

Morning showers west will spread east as the day rolls on, bringing rain to the Metroplex after 2 p.m. and continuing on-and-off through the early morning hours on Sunday.

Saturday will remain cloudy and cool with highs in the mid 50s. Temps overnight will only drop a few degrees into the upper 40s and low 50s. Sunday will bring rain in the early AM hours, tapering off by lunchtime for areas west and central, then eventually east by late afternoon. The cold frontal passage Sunday AM will mean dropping temps as the day rolls on. Highs will be in the mid 50s by daybreak, and slowly decreasing as the afternoon approaches.

We will see more clouds Sunday, but eventually clearing just as the sun sets.

Workweek brings more 40s and 50s, which is just below where we should be this time of year.
