Shooting outside Sachse Kroger store still under investigation
SACHSE, Texas - Police in Sachse, northeast of Dallas, released two men who they had previously detained in relation to a Monday night shooting outside of Kroger.
According to officials, the two men were in the process of selling a motorcycle when an individual brandished a handgun. The two men, both of whom were licensed to carry handguns, fired at the individual, wounding him.
Officers found the wounded man on the ground near a silver Jetta that had a trailer and motorcycle attached to it. The car had several bullet holes on the driver’s side.
Police said the man was in the car but he is not the owner.
The two men who shot him were released by police on Tuesday. No charges have been filed.
Police are still investigating the incident.
The injured man is expected to survive.
