Save Me Steve: State Fair Deals

The great State Fair of Texas is just days away and you can save money this year with deals from Steve Noviello.

McDonalds has an any day deal. Grab a coupon from their tray liner or bag stuffer and it’s good for $5 off admission or half off a children’s ticket.

Also, Dr. Pepper’s “Half Price After 5 Deal” is good on any day. Bring an empty can to the fair after 5 p.m. and get in for $9 instead of $18.

On Tuesdays, you can also bring in an empty Dr. Pepper can at any time of the day and get in for just $5. There are also discounts on the Midway on Tuesday, so it’s a good day to go.

On Wednesday, you can get in for $4 when you bring four cans of food as a donation for the North Texas Food Bank.

Thursdays are packed with deals. Seniors (60 years and older) get in for free. An empty 20 ounce bottle of any Coca-Cola product gets everyone else in for $6.

And if that’s not enough, this year there are Thrifty Thursdays at the fair. Presented by Silverleaf Resorts, you can get special pricing on more than 60 of your favorite fair foods.

Finally on Friday, KISS FM has a coupon on their website for $5 off admission.
